Official scorebooks must be purchased by members for every dog that competes in PSA/AS. Only PSA members can order scorebooks and they must be the owner of the dog.

Scorebooks may be purchased at the time of applying for a PSA/AS membership, or membership
renewal. Alternatively, scorebooks may be purchased by themselves.

The scorebook application is available on the PSA/AS website. Scores will be recorded in the scorebook as well as award of title, honors, or certification and signed for authenticity by the certified Judge and trial secretary.

Should a scorebook be lost or forgotten, a $100 replacement fee shall be collected on the spot to pay administrative costs for filling out and mailing the scorebook after the trial. There shall be no exceptions to this rule. American Schutzhund will no longer allow Scorebooks to be purchased at trials..

All scorebook applications must include a microchip and/or tattoo number. If the scorebook application is missing the dog’s registration number, the dog will be identified as a mixed breed.

All NEW AS scorebook applications must be received at least two weeks prior to the AS trial you plan to compete in. If a new scorebook application is not submitted within that time frame resulting in the scorebook not being received in time, the handler will not be permitted to trial.

All scorebooks can be ordered on the PSA/AS website.
